While working on set, Paul Eliacin developed a deep love for filmmaking. Drawing from years of experience behind the scenes, he wrote, directed, and produced his own full-length feature film, Up In Harlem, featuring Ice-T, the late Vaughn Harper, Mad Lion, and Milira Jones. The film was widely distributed across the U.S. and Canada and is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Beyond entertainment, Paul’s legacy includes his heroic contributions as a First Responder during the 9/11 rescue and recovery efforts, a chapter that profoundly affected his health but continues to inspire his mission. Today, he remains dedicated to completing a documentary for the 25th anniversary of 9/11. A man of faith, patience, and persistence, Paul continues to write, mentor, and volunteer as an Outreach Coordinator for the homeless and needy, staying true to his belief that success is achieved “with God’s grace.”
